Finding Light Amidst Darkness

Absolutely, play is indeed essential for the mental well-being of children, especially those facing the challenges of cancer. In the midst of adversity, play acts as a potent force for resilience and healing. Through independent exploration, children construct imaginative realms where they discover solace and fortitude. Whether it’s through toys or drawing, they navigate their fears and seek comfort. The different talents that are showcased through these various activities are amazing. These playful moments enable them to rise above the trials of illness, embracing the happiness of childhood as they journey towards recovery and hope.

Through our relaxation and therapy sessions, we provide them with that solace and comfort..

A heartwarming reunion at Suwa Arana today

Mrs. Sujatha Bandularatne, our very first donor, returned to see the impact of her generosity firsthand. Witnessing the dedication of our staff, the spirit of our volunteers, and the smiles on the faces of the children and families we serve filled her with boundless joy. Despite the challenges we faced, her unwavering support and belief in our mission never wavered. Together, we’ve proven that kindness knows no bounds.

We enjoyed various relaxation activities
