We held a general awareness meeting with all the parents to inform them about the mission, rules, and regulations of SA.

Indira Cancer Trust had the honour of welcoming Brian Sheehan immediate Past International President and Lori Sheehan , LCIF ( Lions Club International Foundation) chairperson , on December 23 , 2023. This visit holds special significance as it marks the first by a chairperson of LCIF since 2015.

The event was facilitated by Lion Kaushal Rajapakshe , the Multiple Project chairperson for district 306, and was attended by the Governors of District B2 and A1.

The entire third floor of Suwa Arana, dedicated to housing en suite rooms for children and their families, was generously funded by LCIF through district 306B2.

The need for a trolley to transfer patients to Akepsha hospital in an emergency was identified and Sleet Hospital equipment responded by adapting their usual trolley and donated the same for our use.
